Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are securely processed and encrypted to protect your details.

Can I split payment using multiple cards or methods?

Unfortunately, we do not support split payments at this time. One order must be completed using a single payment method.

Can I pay in instalments (Tabby, Tamara, Klarna)?

Stay tuned – this option will be announced on our site and socials once live.

How do I apply a discount code?

During checkout, you’ll find a field to enter any active discount code. Simply apply it before completing your purchase and the total will be adjusted automatically. Only one code can be used per order.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes – we offer digital gift cards delivered via email with a unique QR code. They don’t expire and can be used online or in-store.

Want to gift something tangible? Email us at contact@georgesofdubai.com and we’ll happily post out a printed version with your personalised message.

Please note: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?

We move quickly to process your order, so if it has already shipped, we’re unable to cancel or edit it. In this case, we will retain the shipping cost and issue a refund for the rest. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you’ve made an error.

Can I get an invoice or VAT receipt?

Of course. Just leave a note at checkout or email us with your order number at contact@georgesofdubai.com and we’ll send over the invoice or VAT breakdown.

Which courier partners do you use for shipping?

All our local and international deliveries are handled by Aramex, our trusted logistics partner. Their proven track record ensures that your order is delivered safely and on time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do.

To receive an international shipping quote, please email contact@georgesofdubai.com with your country, city, and a list of items you wish to order.

Please note:

  • Shipping costs are calculated individually based on destination, weight, and size
  • International orders are fulfilled via Aramex Express
  • We do not ship to countries or individuals on any restricted or sanctioned lists (e.g. OFAC)

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll automatically receive an email with:

  • A tracking link from Shopify
  • Your Aramex tracking number

You can track your order via:

  • The link in your order confirmation email
  • Your Aramex tracking portal
  • Your Georges of Dubai customer account (if you created one at checkout)
What happens if I’m not available when my order arrives?

If no one is available to receive your delivery, Aramex will attempt to:

  1. Contact you via the phone number you provided
  2. Re-attempt delivery at a later time or date
  3. Hold your parcel for a limited window at their local distribution point

Important:

  • If multiple delivery attempts are missed, the parcel may be returned to us
  • Additional redelivery fees may apply
  • Please ensure your contact details are accurate at checkout
What if my order is delayed?

While most orders are delivered on time, external factors can sometimes cause delays (e.g. peak season, weather, customs clearance).

If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please:

  • Check your tracking link for updates
  • Contact us at contact@georgesofdubai.com and we’ll assist right away

Do you offer same-day or express delivery?

Yes – for customers in Dubai only, we offer same-day delivery for AED 30 on eligible orders.

To receive your order within ~4 hours, place it before 5 PM and select Same-Day Delivery at checkout.

This service is best for smaller, non-bulky orders under 2kg.

Can I choose a specific delivery time?

At the moment, we do not offer scheduled time slot selection. However, you’re welcome to email us with your delivery preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to accommodate a change of address.

Please email us immediately at contact@georgesofdubai.com with your new address and order number.

Please note:

  • Once the order has been handed over to the courier, we cannot guarantee address changes
  • Additional re-routing or reshipping charges may apply

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Our aim is to ensure that every customer is happy, but we also follow a fair and firm returns process to maintain product quality and brand integrity.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging
  • Tags must be attached, and proof of purchase provided
  • The return request must be made within 14 days of delivery
How do I start a return?

Do you offer exchanges or store credit?

Yes. If you’ve changed your mind, you can exchange your item for another of equal value or request store credit to use at a later date.

Conditions:

  • The item must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns
  • Store credit will be issued via email once the item has been inspected
  • All exchanges and credits must be processed within the 14-day return window
What if my item is damaged, faulty or incorrect?

If your item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we’ll make it right.

Steps:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue
  • Email us at contact@georgesofdubai.com

Once reviewed, we will either:

  • Replace the item
  • Issue a refund
  • Offer store credit, depending on the availability of the product

We take customer satisfaction seriously and resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

Which items are non-returnable?

To ensure hygiene and safety, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Personal care or beauty products (e.g. soaps, oils, lotions)
  • Perishable items (e.g. food, chocolate, flowers)
  • Custom-made or personalised items
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once your return is received and approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund is issued.

Can I return a gift?

What are your store opening hours?

All Georges of Dubai stores operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00.

Can I reserve an item online and pick it up in-store?

We do not offer item reservations, but you can simply purchase online and select “In-Store Pickup” during checkout. We’ll notify you by email when your order is ready for collection.

How does the in-store pickup process work?
  1. Place your order online and select “In-Store Pickup” at checkout
  2. Choose your preferred location (Motor City or DIFC)
  3. Wait for your pickup confirmation email
  4. Visit the store with your order confirmation to collect your purchase

Do your stores offer personal shopping assistance?

What materials are used in your products?

Are your candles and parfum oils made with natural ingredients?

Some of our home fragrance products are made with natural or botanical-based ingredients, and others are made using premium fragrance blends. Each product page specifies this clearly. If you have allergies or sensitivities, we encourage you to double-check the listed details or reach out before purchasing.

Are your homeware items handmade?

Many of our homeware pieces are artisan-made or handcrafted by independent makers and small-batch brands. If a product is handmade, this will be mentioned in the product description. These items often vary slightly in colour, finish or form — a part of their charm and uniqueness.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes, we do. All orders can be beautifully gift wrapped upon request — at no extra charge.

Our signature wrapping includes premium materials, Georges of Dubai tissue and ribbon, and an elegant, ready-to-gift presentation.

If you’d prefer your items unwrapped, just leave a note at checkout.

Can I include a personalised message with a gift?

Yes. You can include a custom message when checking out — we’ll handwrite it onto one of our notecards and include it with the order.

No prices or receipts are ever included in gift orders.

How long does it take to receive a reply?

We aim to respond to all messages within one working day, and often much faster.

We welcome your feedback and take complaints seriously.

Sustainability & Ethical Practices

Do you prioritise sustainability in your sourcing?

Yes. Wherever possible, we partner with small, women-led, and independent artisanal brands — many of whom actively incorporate sustainable practices into their work. These include the use of natural materials, low-waste production methods, and ethical labour standards.

We do not mass-produce Georges of Dubai products. Instead, we thoughtfully curate collections made by real people, with meaningful stories and conscious processes.

Are your packaging materials eco-friendly?

We use recycled, recyclable and reusable packaging materials for the vast majority of our orders. This includes:

  • Recycled kraft paper and tissue
  • Paper-based stickers, postcards and cards
  • Recyclable cardboard boxes

The only exception is bubble wrap, which we currently use to protect fragile items. We're actively researching biodegradable or more sustainable alternatives without compromising product safety during shipping.

Are all your products sustainable?

Not all items in our collection are marketed as fully sustainable — and we are transparent about that. However, many products are made using:

  • Natural or low-impact materials
  • Small-batch, low-waste production methods
  • Recycled, repurposed or upcycled elements

When an item is handcrafted, fair trade, made from recycled materials, or sustainably produced, it is clearly stated on the product page.

Do you use ethical suppliers?
